Information we collect
We collect the information required to quote, create and operate your transfer: name, email address, telephone number, passenger and luggage counts, route, travel dates and times, pickup details, flight or cruise number, child-seat requests and notes you choose to provide. For website bookings, we may also record campaign tags and the referring website's hostname so we can understand how customers found Coastigo. We do not store the referring page's full address. We also process booking status, operational messages and limited technical and security data needed to run and protect the service.
Why we use it
We use this information to provide quotes, create and manage bookings, plan vehicles and drivers, communicate service updates, handle change or cancellation requests, keep business records, prevent abuse and comply with applicable legal obligations.
Legal basis
Depending on the circumstances, processing is necessary to take steps at your request and perform the transport service, meet legal obligations, protect the legitimate interests of operating and securing the service, or act with your consent where consent is required.
Who receives it
Booking details may be shared only as needed with assigned drivers, transport and technology service providers, professional advisers and competent public authorities. We do not sell personal data.
Retention and security
We keep data only for as long as needed for the booking, customer support, fraud prevention and applicable accounting or legal duties. Access is limited according to operational need and reasonable technical and organisational safeguards are used.
Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection, ask about transfers and make a complaint to the relevant data-protection authority. Contact us using the email above and include enough detail to verify and locate your booking.
Cookies, analytics and local storage
The public booking flow uses essential browser storage to let you securely return to your booking. With your consent, Google Analytics measures visits and interactions so we can understand site performance and improve the booking experience. Optional analytics does not load when you reject it, and you can change your choice at any time using Cookie settings. We do not use advertising cookies.
